UV18 Features

The 2018 car features major improvements such as CFRP bonded suspension and 4130 floating brake rotors while building on the successful platform of the 2017 car. The use of a forward roll hoop bracing was a major departure from past years and allowed a reduction of moments of inertia, and rule flexibility in the rear of the frame. The introduction of electronic throttle control was another major focus aimed at improving vehicle predictability.
